Photo of the Day - December 27th, 2018
Today's Photo of the Day comes from back in 2010, when I visited the Bonneville Salt Flats in Utah for the SCTA's annual SpeedWeek event. This is Joel Young's Model T based, 4 cylinder flathead powered streamliner.
In 2010, Joel beat his own record by 40 miles an hour, stopping the clocks at 201.7mph to earn himself a spot in the SCTA's exclusive 200mph club.

The Photo of the Day for today comes from the January 2017 Aeroflow Outlaw Nitro Funny Car round at the Perth Motorplex, and features WA's Anthony Begley behind the wheel of the LA Hooker Nitro Funny Car. The Aeroflow series returns to the Perth Motorplex on the 5th of January 2019. Check out the Motorplex website for more information.

Photo of the Day - December 24th, 2018
Back in 2010, I was lucky enough to shoot the ANRA Summer Nationals, held at Famoso Raceway, near Bakersfield, California. One of the many cars that caught my eye there was this cool bucket style altered, today's Photo of the Day subject. ANRA's focus on Nostalgia racing brings out some really cool cars and while the March Meet and the California Hot Rod Reunion are their most famous annual meets, all their meetings are well worth checking out.

Today's Photo of the Day features Mark Sheehan launching the Nitro Madman canopy style Top Fuel Dragster at the Perth Motorplex's 'Nitro Night' event in February 2018. This car was the first canopy style car to race in Australia and represents quite a major step forward in driver safety in Top Fuel.
