Gidgestock Music Festival This Weekend
In October last year, Lori, Mikah, myself and a bunch of our mates loaded up the vans and campers and headed out to Gidgegannup for a little music festival called Gidgestock Music Festival. Steve and Jo Mitcham run Gidgestock with the help of a whole heap of awesome volunteers and they donate all the proceeds to the local bush firefighters and the Leukemia foundation. Last year this saw each group receive a cheque for $20,000.
Gidgestock 2022 is on this weekend and we're heading up there again and looking forward to another great weekend. Tickets are still available through Eventbrite, so if you're interested, head on over to their facebook page for details.

Parmi Check - Freemasons Hotel in Geraldton, WA
On the way back from our recent Kalbarri trip, Lori, Mikah, Lachelle and I dropped in to see our travelmate Kylie. We dropped the van at Kylies place and headed into town for a feed. I have been wanting for try the meals at the Freemasons Hotel on Marine Terrace for a while, so that's where we headed.
The Freemasons is a classic old Aussie country pub with both indoor and outdoor dining areas and a couple of separate bar areas.
We all settled on chicken parmigana for lunch, with Mikah and Lachelle splitting a Traditional Parmy, Lori opting for a Creamy Garlic Prawn Parmy and myself going for the Nacho Libre Parmy.
Smiles all round and a big thumbs up from all of us for the parmi's at the Freemasons in Geraldton. Would be happy to dig into one of these any night of the week.
As you can see in the shot below, these are a decent pub sized parmi, this one filled me up and Lori, Mikah and Lachelle had leftovers from theirs for dinner the next night.
The rest of the shots below show the dining room at the Freemasons Hotel and another view of the exterior of the hotel. You can see their menu on their website at FreemasonsHotel.com.au
