Photo of the Day - July 18th, 2018
Today's Photo of the Day is a throwback to the SCTA's Bonneville Speedweek in 2010. This is the 2000 Chevrolet Cavalier Competition Coupe of Donnie Stringfellow II and Jim Kirk. During this run the car got out of shape at 270 miles an hour and was severely damaged. Jim was driving at the time and was taken to hospital for observation. I believe this car is still under reconstruction with the intention of returning it to racing at some stage.
