Today is the first round of the Perth Motorplex's Championship Drag Racing Season, so the Photo of the Day features one of the cars you'll see there tonight. Al McClure is seen here at the last pre-season hitout, PowerPalooza, presented by
Shannons Insurance, in his blown altered, competing in Top Competition. Al has been a regular driver here for many years, and always manages to bring a bit of excitement to the track.
Gates open today at 1pm, with the main feature kicking off at 5:30pm at the Perth Motorplex, tickets start at $25 for adults. For more information, check out the
