Photo of the Day - November 9th, 2018
Today's Photo of the Day comes from this weeks Formula Tech Performance Whoop Ass Wednesday at the Perth Motorplex, and features Peter Appleby in his WB Holden Sandman Ute. Peter has had a few years off from racing, but has recently made a welcome return to the Motorplex and Super Sedan, testing the car on Wednesday night and has entered for this Motorplex's Season Opener on Saturday night. Tickets for Saturday's meeting start from $25 for adults and gates open from 1pm, with the nights feature racing kicking off at 5:30pm. Check out the event page on the Motorplex website for more information.

Photo of the Day - November 8th, 2018
Today's Photo of the Day comes from a visit to California in 2010, and features Monterey's Cannery Row. Once a home to many Sardine canning factories, Cannery Row fell silent after the fishing industry collapsed due to over fishing in the mid-1950's, and is now home to a number of restaurants, hotels and shops, with the Monterey Bay Aquarium at the northern end of the Row. The area offshore from Cannery Row is now a marine sanctuary and home to a large population of California Sea Lions.

Photo of the Day - November 7th, 2018
Today's Photo of the Day features Amanda Martin in her Jerry Haas built Emerald Ink Pontiac, seen here competing in Top Sportsman at the Perth Motorplex. Unfortunately, in March 2018, Amanda crashed this car at a private test day at the Motorplex. Since then, she has purchased a new car, a Jerry Bickel Chevy Cobalt formerly campaigned by Greg Carter in Super Sedan at the Motorplex. Having run the new car in Mildura for the Sunset Strip Nationals, this weekend will see the cars official Motorplex debut at the WA Drag Racing Championship round on Saturday, November 10th. You can keep up to date with all the news from Amanda and the Miss Boss Racing team on their facebook page.

The Photo of the Day for today features Serpentine Falls, just south of Perth in Western Australia. Part of the Serpentine National Park, the falls are only a short walk from the nearest parking area and feature a natural swimming area.
